We are a family owned and operated designer consignment shop located in busy Mystic, CT. We are seeking a hard-working, reliable Sales Associate for a year-round position. Fashion retail experience is appreciated as well as a love of fashion and an extensive knowledge of today's top selling designers and brands. You will be responsible for day-to-day operations of the store including opening and closing procedures, organization, customer service and utilizing a point of sale system.
Daily Tasks:
*Greeting customers in a friendly manner and helping them find what they're looking for.
*Straightening the store throughout the day to ensure each customer's experience is ideal.
*Ringing out customers on a computerized point of sale system.
*Watching for theft in the store including monitoring fitting rooms
*Being extremely detail oriented and an excellent multi-tasker.
*Creating a positive atmosphere for both customers and staff.
Requirements
*Retail experience desired but willing to train the right person.
*Must be able to work full day seven hour shifts
*Ability to work weekends and holidays is required.
*Ability to lift thirty pounds comfortably while going up and down stairs.
*Ability to stand for a seven hour shift.

Expected hours: 21 – 35 per week
