Retail Parts Specialist
Position Summary: The Parts Specialist will ensure customer satisfaction by correctly identifying and processing orders for retail and repair parts. The Parts Specialist will assist in accomplishing objectives through the proper use of established purchasing procedures, maintaining inventory control, providing for physical security of stored repair parts, and ultimately helping to ensure customer satisfaction at the highest level possible. As a representative of Vogt RV, all must present a professional appearance and display a friendly attitude towards customers and coworkers alike.

- Successfully receive and put away parts into their assigned bin location.
- Provide sales customers with parts and accessory quotes in an efficient and timely manner.
- Participate in sales meetings and communicate with the stores General Sales Manager about the status of parts on order for delivery units.
- Help the customer identify the best repair part or accessory for their needs.
- Fulfill the necessary part from the best available source in a timely and accurate manner
- Provide status updates to customers in a timely manner
- Ensure all legal, safety, and recall information related to repair parts and/ or accessories is strongly adhered to, so all parties are properly protected.
- Follow all established parts department processes
- Ensure the accuracy of inventory by making sure all parts are being processed correctly
Job Duties
- Ensure customer satisfaction
- Establish a good relationship with distributors, other dealers, internal and external customers in an effort to acquire the correct repair parts needed in the most timely manner, while keeping customers apprised of arrival status updates.
- Learn to use IDS proficiently in order to complete daily tasks
- Create and/or update part numbers with correct information and pricing
- Complete over the counter sales and special order requests
- Create, maintain, and receive in purchase orders while validating purchase information
- Ensure all Customer Service department tasks are completed
- Correctly identify, order, and receive parts for both internal and external customers
- Follow up with customers on the arrival status of the orders.
- Develop a working knowledge of repair parts uses and installation techniques
- Maintain a clean and orderly inventory / work area
- Complete assigned inventory cycle counts in accordance with the prescribed schedule
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
