The MINI Retail Network Development Manager will define the optimized MINI dealer network based on future volume plans, consumer preferences, demographic modeling and brand requirements. You will ensure MINI USA has a strategically developed the Retail Network across the United States and Puerto Rico, offering premium retail experiences in the areas of sales, service, and facility representation. You will be responsible for developing and implementing MINI’s network and alternative retail format strategy. This role is also responsible for safeguarding the MINI brand and logo by ensure MINI’s global CI standards are implemented at every retail outlet across the United States.

You will advise Franchise Committee on MINI national strategy position for network actions and recommend action. You will lead BMW/MINI Intelligent Integration initiative along with right sizing MINI Dealer Network by steering the cross-functional team to define, develop and implement the strategic direction of BMW and MINI intelligent Integration effort and drive and improve organizational and MINI dealer performance through better efficiencies and enhancements.

You will design and implement a migration plan to the optimized network. Recommend a prioritized series of changes to senior management, ensure Network Development processes are consistent with BMW Group standards, and effectively manage associated buy/sells, add-points, consolidations and relocations.

You will develop, implement and monitor policies and procedures for the MINI Retail Network for operational (satellites, annexes, new centers) and brand concepts (signage, interior communication, exterior communication).

You will be an expert on registration data content and contract, responsible to provide insights and guidance to department head. High degree of persuasion and negotiation skills necessary. You will be responsible for negotiating potential buyouts, mergers, and other alternative network activities. Must be able effectively persuade BMW Group executive management and EB on recommended solutions.

Additionally, you will be responsible for steering the MINI USA dealer network, Portfolio Performance Agreements (PPA), performance management process and market review meetings as well as providing guidance to the region and field teams in the development of action plans that deliver business objectives. You will also participate in ad-hoc projects related to the execution of MINI USA’s national strategy.

The pay range for this role is: $137,520.00 - $175,365.00.

The selected candidate’s education, skills, experience, and location will be used to determine the final salary offer. All pay ranges are based on a full-time work schedule. This statement is in accordance with state and local pay disclosure requirements.

Qualifications:

Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree in Business or equivalent work experience
  • 10+ years automotive experience
  • 7+ year Network Dealer Development experience.
  • Direct dealer contact experience, additional experience in either Aftersales, Sales, Service or CPO.
  • Demonstrated experience and skills with planning, staffing, budgeting, organizing, controlling and communicating are paramount, and required.
  • The ability to understand and analyze retailer financial statements and to develop effective relationships, provide leadership, and integrate diverse organizations and individuals toward profitability objectives is critical for this position.
