Retail Host Team Member

DeadBeach Brewery is seeking a dynamic and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Retail Store Associate and Host. This role combines responsibilities in customer service, retail operations, and hosting duties to ensure an exceptional experience for our patrons. Responsibilities:

• Customer Service:
• Greet customers warmly as they enter the brewery tavern.
• Assist customers with inquiries about merchandise, beer selections, and events.
• Provide recommendations and product knowledge to enhance customer experience.
• Handle customer transactions accurately and efficiently using POS systems.
• Retail Operations:
• Maintain a clean and organized retail area, including stocking shelves and arranging merchandise displays.
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate replenishment needs to management.
• Process merchandise deliveries and returns according to company policies.
• Ensure compliance with all retail procedures and regulations.
• Host Duties:
• Manage the waitlist during peak hours, effectively estimating wait times and seating guests promptly.
• Escort guests to their tables and provide menus.
• Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to coordinate seating and ensure smooth service flow.
• Handle reservations and assist with event planning as needed.
• Promotional Support:
• Promote brewery events, promotions, and special offerings to customers.
• Encourage sign-ups for loyalty programs and brewery memberships.
• Actively engage customers to foster a sense of community and loyalty to DeadBeach Brewery Tavern.
• Team Collaboration:
• Work collaboratively with fellow Team Members to maintain a positive and cohesive work environment.
• Communicate effectively with management regarding customer feedback, operational issues, and suggestions for improvement.
• Assist in other areas of the brewery tavern as needed, including bartending and food service during busy periods.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in retail, hospitality, or customer service preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of craft beer and brewing processes is a plus.
• Proficiency in POS systems and basic computer skills.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $9.00 - $11.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
