Retail Flooring Sales Specialist

Floors Direct is seeking a Retail Flooring Sales Associate for our Stuart, Florida location. We are looking for energetic and committed individuals that possess the ability to build and manage relationships with all types of customers using an honest and ethical approach.

Candidates with strong communication skills who can make customers feel welcome in our store will stand out. You will help identify client needs, present and answer questions about our products and services and recommend solutions.

Flooring / Design experience preferred, but not necessary - We will train the right person. We offer an aggressive compensation plan, medical benefits, paid vacation, 401K and a comfortable work environment. Must work Saturdays.

Compensation is performance based (commission) with most employees ranging between $50K - $80K+ annually. We do provide a monthly draw against commissions.

Responsibilities

• Greet and direct customers
• Provide accurate information (e.g. product features, pricing, etc.)
• Answer customers’ questions about specific products/services
• Conduct price and feature comparisons to facilitate purchasing
• Ensure racks are fully stocked
• Manage returns of merchandise
• Provide excellent customer service
• Provide customer feedback to the Store Manager
• Stay up-to-date with new products/services

Skills

• Proven work experience as a Retail Sales Representative, Sales Associate, Customer Service or similar role
• Understanding of the retail sales process
• Familiarity with consumer behavior principles
• Knowledge of inventory stocking procedures
• Basic math skills
• Track record of achieving sales quotas
• Excellent communication skills, capable of building trusting relationships
• Ability to perform in fast-paced environments

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
