We have an opening for a Retail Sales Associate at our Fort Worth location. Our Retail positions start at $19.00/hour+ plus profit sharing, applicable bonuses, and 401(k) with employer match plus we don’t require ANY previous experience in the metals industry. SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure that each guest receives best service possible through order processing, invoicing, preparing correspondence, and acting as the primary customer contact regarding payment, order status updates, and shipping
• Provide information to customers including lead times, product recommendations, guidance throughout store, price quotes, and product availability
• Demonstrate outstanding Customer Service and selling skills
• Possess a general understanding of transportation, shipping, order flow, material characteristics and common uses, and production center capabilities
• Communicate with team members in sales, management, production center, estimating, and order fulfillment to confirm order status and ensure timely processing of pending orders
• Process material cuts using industrial saws
• Ensure the cleanliness and neatness of assigned store areas
• Replenish and straighten product stock in store
• Follow general safety guidelines, processes, and procedures

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Diploma or experience equivalent
• Basic understanding of sales principles and Customer Service practices
• Professional communication in the English language, both written and verbal
• Must be able to type, at minimum 50WPM
• General understanding of ERP/point-and-click software systems
• Ability to multi-task while being attentive to customers and remaining flexible to the needs of the department
• Basic understanding of measuring devices such as calipers, tape measures, and scales
• Ability to safely lift 50 pounds regularly and up to 75 pounds occasionally
• Ability to maneuver and manipulate metal materials by bending, twisting, reaching overhead, pushing, pulling, and use of upper and lower extremities and back

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
The following qualifications are desired, though not required to adequately meet the objectives of the position.

• Experience in metals and/or hardware industry
• Bilingual in English and Spanish
