Retail Credit Risk Internship
DLL’s Internship Program was created to enable students who are pursuing a higher educational degree to obtain real-life business experience while assisting the company in operating tasks and special projects.
Anticipated start date around late May - early June. The internship program lasts 12 weeks.

Day to Day
- Spreading financials in our Credit Risk software
- Performing detailed analysis of business financial statements
- Underwriting new and existing scorecard applications and proposing recommendations
- Building internal reporting for tracking new and existing business
- Developing internal policies, procedures, and how-to guides
- Discussing annual review with customers alongside an underwriter on our team
- Participating in team led projects and initiatives to improve efficiencies and quality
- Communicating with sales organization to increase quality of submissions
- Presenting overview of learnings to the risk team
- Additional projects assigned on an ad hoc basis
Essentials
- Actively enrolled in a college/university and pursing a four-year degree or a Master’s degree
- Have completed at least 2 year of schooling towards an associates, bachelors degree or at least 1 year towards a master’s degree. (suggested majors: Business, Finance, Risk, Accounting)
- Desire to learn the business wholistically and perform comprehensive tasks
- Readiness to operate in a highly efficient manner in a fast-paced environment
- Must have attention to detail and communicate in a professional manner
- Willingness to collaborate in a team-oriented atmosphere
- Interest in automotive and equipment financing

$17-$20/ hour
