We are Now Hiring at your local Publix at BeaufortPlaza, 33 Robert Smalls Pkwy, Beaufort, SC 29906 in almost every department. We are looking for friendly, customer-focused people in our departments. Skilled tradespeople such as Meat Cutters (Butchers) are in high demand as we continue to grow and expand. Job seekers with food preparation and culinary experience are needed in our Deli departments. Stock clerks are needed in our grocery departments to keep our stores well stocked. We are not hiring for customer service at this time, this includes baggers, cashiers and CSS.

Requirements:

Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service and assist customers with their shopping needs
- Greet and engage customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Assist customers in finding products and making purchasing decisions
- Upsell products and promote special offers or promotions
- Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits
- Process cash, credit, and debit card transactions accurately
- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, including restocking shelves and arranging displays
- Assist with inventory management, including receiving and stocking merchandise
- Answer customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints

Skills:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively upsell products to increase sales
- Basic math skills for cash handling and calculating discounts or change
- Multilingual or skills, especially Spanish, to assist diverse customer base
- Experience in jewelry sales is a plus

Pay: $13.50 - $22.40 per hour
