Restoration Technician

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Restoration Technician to join our team. As a Restoration Technician, you will be responsible for assisting with the restoration and cleanup of properties affected by water, fire, or mold damage. This is a hands-on role that requires knowledge of restoration techniques and the ability to use various tools and equipment. Experience not required.

Duties:

- Perform water damage restoration tasks, including extracting water, drying affected areas, and removing damaged materials

- Conduct mold remediation procedures, such as containment, removal, and cleaning

- Assist with fire restoration efforts, including cleaning smoke damage, deodorizing, and rebuilding affected areas

- Utilize power tools and hand tools to complete restoration tasks

- Clean carpets and upholstery using appropriate techniques and equipment

- Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with IICRC industry standards

- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively

Skills:

- Strong knowledge of the restoration industry and best practices

- Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools for restoration tasks

- Experience with water damage restoration, mold remediation, and fire restoration

- Ability to work in physically demanding environments and lift heavy objects as needed

- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately

- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing situations

- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
