Job Description: LPM Restaurant Reservations Manager
Location: LPM Restaurant & Bar Miami, Florida
Pay: $80,000 - $105,000 per year
The primary job duties of the Restaurant Reservations Manager include:
- In-charge of managing all Restaurant Reservations.
- Ensuring the day-to-day operations of the R & R staff are properly executed.
- Cooperating and communicating with Management.
- Liaising with outlet managers to ensure reservations/bookings are accurately communicated.
- Assisting and monitoring all activities within the R & R department
- Monitoring of proper opening and closing procedures.
- Ensuring the R & R staff are adhering to the policies and standards set by management
- Ensuring the R & R staff have clear expectations of their set responsibilities
- Maintaining of a safe and healthy work environment for all associates
- Training, coaching, and supervising of new hires and R & R staff
- Ensuring that all bookings have consistent follow-ups
- Monitoring of individual team members performance and communicating of all necessary details with regards to booking
Skills and Requirements:
- 3 to 4+ years of experience in Restaurant Reservation & Reception and hospitality
- Arrive at work well groomed and prepared for daily activities
- Understanding and knowledge of restaurant’s menu and offerings.
- Proactive in taking reservations, sending proposals & confirmations, and responding to restaurant business related queries
- Ensuring the maintenance of records, tracking of reports required by the business.
- Business correspondence/Guest Comments review for follow-up and action.
- Always well informed on restaurant plans such as events, promotions, bookings, discounts, VIPs, dietary requirements of guests, etc.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
