Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team. As a Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining high standards of food quality and safety. Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of the restaurant, including staff supervision, inventory management, and customer service
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness
- Develop and implement strategies to increase revenue and improve profitability
- Ability to understand and manage a P&L.
- Train and mentor staff members to provide exceptional service and maintain a positive work environment
- Create employee schedules and manage labor costs effectively
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely manner
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations and timely food production
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders as needed to maintain adequate stock
- Conduct regular performance evaluations for staff members
- Ability to operate every station in the restaurant and actively assist where needed.
Experience
To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications:
- Previous experience in restaurant management or a similar role
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
- Proven track record in shift management and supervising staff members
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lead a team effectively and motivate staff members
- Knowledge of kitchen operations and food production processes
- Experience in food service management or hospitality management is preferred
