Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the restaurant, including food preparation, inventory control, and food safety.
- Manage and supervise a team of restaurant staff, including cooks, servers, and hosts/hostesses.
- Ensure high-quality customer service and satisfaction by addressing customer concerns and resolving issues promptly.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase restaurant sales and profitability.
- Interview, hire, train, and schedule employees to ensure adequate staffing levels.
- Monitor and enforce compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the restaurant to create a welcoming environment for customers.
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure efficient food production and timely delivery of orders.
- Handle cash management responsibilities, including cash handling, banking deposits, and reconciling cash register drawers.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a restaurant management role or similar position.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, inventory control, and food safety standards.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on creating a positive dining experience.
- Knowledge of coffee preparation techniques is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers, staff, and vendors.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
