WHAT DOES A RESTAURANT LINE COOK DO?

In this full- or part-time position, you're responsible for preparing all food items as directed in a sanitary and timely manner. You follow recipes and presentation specifications to ensure that every meal that leaves the kitchen is of the highest quality. Each day, you operate a variety of standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently. Keeping your station clean and organized is vital.

We value teamwork, so you also assist other team members with their cleaning tasks. You restock items as needed throughout the shift and adhere to all sanitation and food safety regulations. You love having the opportunity to further your skills and take pride in the delicious food you prepare!

REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS RESTAURANT LINE COOK JOB

• 1+ years of experience in a similar position
• Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position, including standing for extended periods of time and lifting up to 50 lbs.

To succeed in this full- or part-time position, you need to be a master at operating standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently and have a firm understanding of good safety and sanitation practices. Additionally, you need solid organizational and multitasking skills.
