Growing regional chain is looking for a passionate, experienced General Manager with national chain restaurant experience. This individual must have a true passion for food and an unrelenting drive to provide an exceptional guest experience while ensuring we create a great work culture for our employees. The candidate requires a minimum of 2 years of GM experience and a strong understanding of kitchen operations.

Responsibilities

• The understanding and ability to deliver on all BOH functions. Orders, inventory, organizing, and overseeing all kitchen operations.
• Autonomy to manage your restaurant.
• Adhere to company standards and service levels to increase sales and minimize costs, including food, beverage, supply, utility, and labor costs.
• Communicates effectively with all members of the management team.
• Maintain professional restaurant image, including restaurant cleanliness, proper uniforms, and appearance standards.
• Ensure positive guest service in all areas.
• Provide direction to employees regarding operations and procedural issues while developing employees by providing ongoing feedback, establishing performance expectations, and conducting performance reviews.
• Works with managers, team members, and HR on disciplinary matters and issues.
• Cross-trains and develops staff to provide opportunities for growth and advancement.
• Ensures daily completion of line checks for food quality, freshness, and standards at the beginning of each shift.
• Strong P&L experience and desire to grow revenue through multiple mediums.
• You are honest and energetic, able to inspire your team and be part of creating a great environment and culture.
• Recruit, hire, onboard, and develop restaurant managers.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of GM experience in a full-service restaurant.
• Strong knowledge of front and back-of-house operations including food, beverages, staff supervision, inventory, food safety, service techniques, and guest interaction.
• Strong understanding of cost and labor systems that lead to restaurant profitability.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• The ability to hire and retain great employees.
• Stable and progressive work history; Strong work ethic
• Able to work extended periods, with extensive standing/walking.

Compensation
$61,000 - $65,000 yearly
