In this role, you have an opportunity to:
- Coordinate and expedite the flow of work and materials within or between departments according to production schedule
- Review production schedules and prioritize job orders for timely completion
- Communicate with various departments to ensure smooth workflow and resolve any issues that may arise
- Inspect materials, products, or equipment to detect defects or malfunctions and take appropriate action
- Assist in training new employees on job duties and safety procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Familiarity with dietary restrictions and the ability to accommodate special dietary needs is beneficial
- Experience working in a catering or food service setting is an asset
