Restaurant Cashier

Primary Responsibilities

• Accurately record transactions in the POS system
• Process customer transactions and handle cash and inventory control
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the restaurant
• Open and/or close the shift according to procedure
• Respond and resolve customer’s requests and concerns
• Stock products quickly and productively
• Assist customers with their purchases working directly with the kitchen staff
• Provide quality product, excellent service, and a friendly atmosphere for all customers

Work Experience/Skills/Education

• Cash handling experience
• Able to quickly learn and use a POS system
• Able to work in a fast paced environment independently
• At least 18 years of age
• Possess Food Handler's Permit prior to application

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 18 – 30 per week
