BECOMING A RESTAURANT APPLIANCE REPAIR

As a Restaurant Appliance Repair, you'll typically work a Monday through Friday schedule between 8 AM to 5 PM, while being on an emergency on-call rotation. Your daily tasks involve the meticulous troubleshooting, diagnosis, and repair of an array of kitchen appliances. You will be at the forefront of solving complex appliance problems, whether it's reviving ovens, refrigerators, dishwashers, or other essential kitchen gear. In addition to your technical expertise, you'll also manage the production of essential work records, including work orders, time reporting, receipts, and the systematic inventory management of truck stock. Superlative customer service will be your hallmark as you engage with clients, collaborate with team members, and liaise with equipment manufacturers, ensuring transparency and customer satisfaction.

All that you need to excel as our Restaurant Appliance Repair Technician is the following:

• Service experience from a related industry AND a demonstrated mechanical repair experience from a related industry such as Appliance Repair, electrical, and refrigeration
• Customer service experience
• Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair kitchen equipment
• Physical ability to meet the requirements of the job, including bending, kneeling, climbing ladders, and lifting/moving up to 70 lbs
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Speak fluent English
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
• Have your own technical service repair tools
• Some familiarity with new technology such as iPads and computer software

Relevant technical training, licenses, certifications, or experience in commercial cooking equipment repair is a plus!
