Respiratory Therapist - Houston, Tx - Prn Or Contract

We are needing ongoing PRN Respiratory Therapist (CRT or RRT) coverage in Houston, TX.

Job Summary

This position will work collaboratively with clinical caregivers, patients, and families to improve and maintain ideal lung health for all ages (adult, geriatric, and neonatal). As a valued member of the Respiratory Care team, you will be applying and monitoring medical gases (excluding anesthetic gases) and environmental control systems, mechanical ventilatory support, artificial airway care, bronchopulmonary hygiene, pharmacologic agents related to respiratory care procedures, and cardiopulmonary rehabilitation related and limited to respiratory care.

Experience and Education

• Two (2) years experience preferred.
• A.A.S Graduate of accredited program in respiratory care (Bachelor’s degree preferred)
• License by the Texas Medical Board
• Registered by the NBRC
• BLS, ACLS, PALS

$42.50/hour

Job Types: Per diem, Contract, Temporary

Pay: $42.50 per hour
