The Respiratory Therapist functions as a performance level Respiratory Therapist in providing therapeutic procedures and diagnostic testing to the chronically and acutely ill patients requiring respiratory procedures.

Responsibilities

• Creates a caring and healing environment that keeps the patient and family at the center of care
• Ensures an environment of patient safety, promotes evidence-based practice and quality initiatives and exhibits professionalism

Requirements/Qualifications

• Successful completion of 2 or 4 year Respiratory Care Program degree
• Requires an Ohio Respiratory Care Professional License and a National Board Respiratory Credential
