Form of work
SalaryCertified by the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) is required.
Must have and maintain an active respiratory license by the Maryland Board of Physicians. Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
Minimum of 1 year critical care preferred-may include clinical rotation experience if new grad with preceptor endorsement, ABG experience highly desirable.
Responsible for providing direct patient Respiratory Care treatments, and assisting in evaluating patients with respiratory illness.
Included but not limited to: Respiratory therapy in intensive care unit, general Respiratory Care, emergency room, ventilator management, CPAP/BIPAP, 02 Therapy, CPT, Aerosolized medications, CPR/code team, and computerized documentation.
Graduate of an AMA approved school of Respiratory Therapy.
Possible exposure to communicable diseases and hazardous materials with little likelihood of harm if established health precautions are followed.
