*This position is 100% remote and the salary range is $60,000-$80,000.

HFC is seeking a Resourcing Manager to join the operations team to manage the day-to-day staffing and resourcing needs of the company while working collaboratively with department heads (i.e. Engineering, Design, Product) to determine overall fit based on skill set, experience, and availability. Simply stated, you will be responsible for assigning the right resources to the right projects in support of the successful delivery of projects. You will report directly to the Director of People.
Specifically, you will…
- Assign available team members to projects in accordance with their skill sets, previous experience, cost, and availability.
- Monitor day-to-day project activities and corresponding resourcing.
- Ensure optimal utilization of team members’ allocations
- Assist product, project, account, and sales managers with planning and allocating resources for their respective projects.
- Capacity planning, i.e. determine the company’s demand for resources and ensures its capacity to meet staffing needs of projects.
- Manage and monitor team members’ workload, utilization, and overall hours.
- Address staffing conflicts and overcome resource shortages by means of resource management techniques.
- Collaborating with the Director of People, and the Technical Recruitment Manager as needed, regarding the current skill set of team members while also identifying missing and/or lacking skill areas that need to be supplemented.
- Documenting processes (e.g. weekly utilization reports) and ownership of the company’s resourcing tools.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Resource Manager, Operations Manager, Project Manager, or Human Resource Manager.
- Tech industry experience required!! Working knowledge of how digital technical products are built and the skill sets and experience required to build said products, specifically, an understanding of how products are designed and engineered
- Ability to thrive in fast and ambiguous environments.
