JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Resource Associate works closely with the Utilization Review Team to provide critical clinical reviews and communication with 3rd Party Payors. This team provides necessary tracking and referral of clinical information to ensure coverage and appropriate level of care.
Assist the UR case managers with tasks associated to appropriate insurance coverage. May require occasional patient contact to deliver notices of coverage to patients.
The Resource Associate II provides consultation on issues of EPIC and MIDAS, including development and training of staff.
EDUCATION:
Bachelor's degree, RN, or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which knowledge and skills would be acquired.
EXPERIENCE:
Three years of customer service in a health care setting required. Previous experience in health care and/or human services required. Experience with benefit programs and applications, preferred.
