Resort Shuttle Driver

Operate shuttle busses, transporting guests and employees from area lodges, hotels, condos, and parking lots to Base Area and back. Transports guests throughout the day as needed. As a customer focused organization, a crucial part of each employee’s job is to get and keep guests.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Transport guests in a safe and welcoming manner throughout all areas of the resort, as assigned.
• Perform pre-operation inspection of vehicle and report all maintenance and repair issues to Maintenance.
• Assist passengers loading and unloading the shuttle bus by placement of ski & snowboard equipment in racks; inspect pick-up and drop-off areas to ensure they are clear of ice, snow, and other hazards; notify Grounds Maintenance staff of areas needing attention.
• Assist in all company and department training programs as required.
• Remain informed of weekend events, schedules, and service locations to direct guests to desired areas.
• Contribute to team effort by participating in job sharing, assuming responsibility for the cleanliness of the resort and safety of guests and employees; participating in safety meetings; accepting diverse assignments; maintain a positive and friendly attitude and demeanor in all internal and external interactions.
• Meet service level objectives and department goals as set forth by immediate supervisor.
• Flexible working hours; includes holidays, evenings, and weekends.

RESPONSIBILITIES TO SAFETY

• Protect the safety of self, co-workers, and Cranmore Mountain Resort guests and assets at all times.
• Report any potentially harmful equipment or situations to immediate supervisor without delay.
• Report safety-related accidents and incidents at once to immediate supervisor.
• Follow all company and department safety policies and procedures.
• Operate equipment in a safe manner that will not lead to injury of you or others.
• Drive in accordance with the law and Cranmore Mountain Resort policies.
• High school diploma (or equivalent) required; one to two years’ related experience and/or training preferred.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Valid Driver’s License.

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Flexible working hours, including weekends, some evenings, and holidays. Must be able to handle sensitive information with the utmost professionalism and confidentiality.
