Form of workThe Residential Therapist will be responsible for providing mental health services to children and adolescents in a residential setting. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in a social service/human service field OR a bachelor's degree in a social service/human service field and a minimum of three years' experience working with children and adolescents in a mental health setting. Experience in individual, group, and family modalities is preferred.
The Residential Therapist must have sensitivity to service population's cultural and socioeconomic characteristics. They must also be eligible under current Pennsylvania legal and regulatory requirements, possess a valid PA Driver's License, and have Child Abuse Clearance, State Police Clearance, and FBI Clearance. Successful completion of Safe Crisis Management curriculum is also required.
