Residential Nurse RN

Beacon Light Behavioral Health System is looking for a Residential NurseRN, who is responsible for working with the Treatment Team and Director of Nursing in the delivery of nursing and medical care in a behavioral health program. The nursing functions may include, but are not limited to, weekly assessments, medication administration, vitals, medical appointments, consultation with physical health physicians and the psychiatrist for the overall medical care for these young individuals who often times experience complex medical needs.

The Psychiatric Residential Treatment Program serves adolescents, who may be dually diagnosed with mental health and intellectual developmentally disabled diagnoses, in a trauma informed care environment. We strive at all times to deliver the highest quality of care to the children we serve and are always striving for positive outcomes. Full-Time, Part-Time, and On-Call positions available.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

• Be a graduate of Accredited Practical Nursing Program and/or RN Certificate.
• current, unrestricted nursing license in the state of Pennsylvania
• one year of prior experience or training required

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:

This position gives preference to individuals with an active driver's license and a DMV check that is clear. Position may require travel in the local community or to assist with individuals attending required appointments or visits.

Pay

• LPN starting pay is $18.38/hour. Increases with years of experience.
• RN starting pay is $51062.00/year. Increases with years of experience.
• Graduate Nurse starting pay is $17.10/hour.
