Residential LPN/RN

Overview:

Responsibilities:

Screen potential clients for medical appropriateness for admission to our substance use disorder residential units. Monitor medication observation with staff and clients. Provide first aid. Make physician referrals. Coordinate care among prescribers, clients, labs, PCPs, other providers, pharmacies, and Chestnut staff. Transport clients to medical and other appointments as needed.

 

Promote the recovery model of treatment including trauma-informed care, hope, respect, empowerment, health/wellness, and spirituality/connectedness.

Qualifications:

Requires active RN license in Illinois. CPR certification (or obtain certification within 90 days of hire). Basic computer skills including MS Office, e-prescribing, and an electronic medical record. Valid driver’s license, private auto insurance, and ability to be insured.
