RESIDENTIAL LAWN CARE TECHNICIAN - $20-$28/hr + benefits

Village Green Lawn & Landscaping is seeking a RESIDENTIAL CARE FERTILIZATION TECHNICIAN to join our team!

Village Green Lawn & Landscaping is a family owned and operated company that has been serving Plano and the surrounding cities for over 40 years in the areas of fertilization & weed control, irrigation repair and landscape installation. ROLE MISSION: The mission for this role is to provide Village Green’s clients a positive, personal experience while creating a healthy lawn and landscape.

Do you need landscape experience? No. We are very good teachers. Most of our star team members had never worked in the landscape industry before coming to Village Green.

What does someone in this role actually do?

• Works Monday through Friday with some Saturdays
• Drives company provided truck
• Follows safety protocols
• Visits roughly 25 homes per day
• Evaluates health of lawn and landscape of each home
• Advises customers on methods to improve lawn and landscape condition
• Applies fertilizers plus insect and disease products to create a healthy lawn and landscape
• Builds relationships with customers

The person we are looking for is someone who...

• ***Has a current driver's license***
• Can work occasional Saturdays
• Has some leadership experience
• Can't stand working in an office
• Can work quickly with an attention to detail
• Enjoys getting to know our customers
• Wants to be a part of a fun, hard working, closely knit team
• Has a desire to have a long term career, not just a job
