Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in accordance with local and national electrical codes
- Perform troubleshooting and diagnostic tests to identify electrical issues and implement appropriate solutions
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine the layout of electrical wiring and equipment installations
- Collaborate with other tradespeople and contractors to ensure the successful completion of projects
- Conduct regular inspections of electrical systems to identify potential hazards or malfunctions
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment
Qualifications:
- Journeyman/Journeywoman Electrician license or equivalent certification
- Proven experience as a Journeyperson Electrician in a commercial or industrial setting
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and equipment
- Proficient in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Familiarity with logic controllers, low voltage systems, and power tools
- Ability to use hand tools and specialized electrical equipment effectively
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
