SIGN-ON BONUS OF $750 FOR NEW HIRES !!!!
This position provides support to persons living with disabilities throughout the Washington, DC Metropolitan area. You will assist the person with accomplishing their goals and providing support as they live a self-directed life.
These specific homes are behavior homes and staff must be able to appropriately assist persons through all types of behavioral challenges. Most behaviors include physical aggression, verbal aggression, and property destruction. In addition, my persons are higher functioning and should be encouraged to complete their ADLs and household duties with assistance, rather than the staff completing the duties for them. Staff should ensure they are making provisions specifically for each person supported to account for person-centered programming.
The purpose of this role is to increase the persons functioning and quality of living so that they may live their life as close to normalcy as possible. All other duties are the same as any other ILS location as they are expected to perform all duties as outlined in their job description.

You must be at least 18 years of age and able to complete all background and screening processes. A successful candidate must be able to read, write, and speak english as well as manage their time to ensure all required tasks for the person are completed as designated during your shift.
