We are looking for a Residential Administrator to join our team.
The Residential Administrator is responsible for assuring the continuous operation of the 24 hour facility in compliance with applicable government regulations, contracts, company policies, and the established policies and procedures of the facility. You are responsible for the supervision of on-site staff and the provision of services to residents of the facility. The administrator also serves as the facilities representative with outside individuals and agencies, and will work with an assigned caseload, as needed.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure that facility passes all DSHS licensing inspections and completes all DSHS corrective actions within required timelines
  • Verify client financial eligibility for boarding home care
  • Work to maintain facility budget expectations through staffing patterns, activity expenses, and food/supply orders at the facility
  • Manage resident trust accounts per agency procedure
  • Provide supervision to staff twice monthly and maintain records electronically in HR system
  • Relay complete and relevant information to staff members at all times
  • Document and track employee performance improvement when necessary
  • Complete required monthly paperwork and reporting, including resident trust information, continuing stay reviews, etc.
  • Oversee resident intake process including scheduling, documentation, and routine review
  • Oversee accurate medication orders, records, supply, and inventory
  • Facilitate communication with outside providers as needed to ensure overall effectiveness of treatment plan
  • Provide assistance in accordance to individual treatment plans such as hygiene needs, meal preparation, daily skills groups, and community outings
  • Coordinate resident needs which may include but are not limited to assistance with medical appointments, treatment appointments, or other appointments as needed
  • Facilitate assigned group activity sessions and specialized client events such as field trips, holiday parties, etc.
  • Provide immediate crisis intervention and resolution as needed
  • Provide input to primary psychiatric provider and/or case manager on client progress and treatment plan
  • Maintain member records in keeping with agency, county, state and federal guidelines
  • Commit to 12 hours of annual continuing education/training
  • Maintain resident and staff confidentiality at all times
  • Other duties as assigned

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • 5 years experience providing direct care, or supervising individuals providing direct care to, vulnerable adults in a setting licensed by a state agency for the care of vulnerable adults per WAC 388-78A-2527
  • Current First Aid/CPR certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire
  • Current Food Handlers permit or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire
  • Must hold a valid WA State license for 1 year with clean driving record in order to use agency vehicles.
  • Have legible handwriting
  • Ability to do simple mathematics
  • Ability to read and comprehend agency/member charts in online medical record
  • Ability to work non-traditional schedule including 24-hour back-up as required by WAC and agency policy
  • Certificate from DSHS 75 hour training within 120 days of employment and other specialized trainings per WAC
  • Ability to perform duties outlined above within reasonable accommodation

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Mental Health Professional (MHP) qualifications
  • 5 years progressively increased responsibilities within a mental health or social services agency
  • Previous supervisory experience
