Resident Relations Manager
Summary: A Resident Relations Manager is responsible for fostering positive relationships between a property management company and its residents. This role involves ensuring tenant satisfaction, addressing concerns or issues, and enhancing the overall living experience for residents.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
● Maintain an excellent customer service program by adhering to the Place Simply Service Standards
● Adhere to Place Policies and Procedures
Resident Management Responsibilities
● Write up and file service requests from residents upon receipt, and take necessary steps to ensure timely response by appropriate staff
● Monitor maintenance service responses to ensure a high degree of resident satisfaction
● Address complaints and resolve issues in a timely and professional fashion.
● Accurately prepare and have a thorough knowledge of all lease-related paperwork
● Audit all lease files as needed to ensure adherence to policies and procedures
● Collect and accurately post rent and other income
● Supervise the planning, preparation, and implementation of renewal parties, property events, and competitions as approved by the Business Manager
● Monitor renewal progress focusing on areas needing additional support
● Negotiate lease renewals with current residents when possible
● Assist with the development and implementation of Resident Programs
● Maintain thorough product knowledge of the property and competition
● Facilitate scheduling charges and move ins in management software
● Inspect units on a quarterly basis as well as prior to move-in
● Assist in all move-out and move-in events and processes
● Contribute to the general upkeep and cleaning of office, common areas and model
● Perform various administrative tasks and additional as needed or as directed by Business Manager
● Participate in property inspections, quarterly, move-in and move out
● Assist Business Manager in preparation of weekly and monthly reporting requirements
● Responsible for helping property meet budgeted revenues, expenses, and Net Operating
Income
● Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as needed
● Ability to remain flexible and efficient in a fast paced environment
Educational Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Ability to read and write English fluently
Ability to perform basic to intermediate math
Computer literacy required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
