Resident Caregiver

Duties:
- Provide personal care assistance to residents, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Assist residents with mobility and transfers, using proper lifting techniques.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature.
- Administer first aid as needed and report any changes in residents' health to the appropriate medical personnel.
- Prepare and serve meals according to residents' dietary needs and preferences.
- Ensure that residents' rights are respected and upheld at all times.
- Provide companionship and engage in social activities with residents.
- Assist with light housekeeping duties, including cleaning and organizing residents' living spaces.

Requirements:
- Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred.
- Knowledge of basic caregiving skills, including lifting techniques, vital sign monitoring, and first aid.
- Familiarity with meal preparation and dietary restrictions.
- Understanding of resident rights and the importance of maintaining their dignity and privacy.
- Knowledge of assisted living principles and practices.
- Compassionate and patient demeanor when interacting with residents.
- Ability to communicate effectively with residents, their families, and other staff members.
- Experience in dementia care is a plus.
