POSITION SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES
Carries out, under the direction of the Preceptor/Administrator, assignments designed to assist in the operation of University Health and to provide the incumbent a well-rounded program of observation and participation in major functional activities of hospital operations and in many phases of hospital administration. This is a trainee position for students in postgraduate programs leading to a Master’s degree in Hospital Administration. Ensures the satisfactory performance of duties and assignments delegated by a Preceptor/Administrator. Promotes the UH Guest Relations policy.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Graduation from an accredited college or university and completion of the academic phase of a postgraduate program in hospital administration is required. One year or more of hospital supervisory or administrative experience is preferred.
