Resident Activity Director

Job Description

• Arrage, promote, and supervise the planned programs & activities for those who reside in our residential facility.
• Prepare a monthly calendar of activities
• Supervise volunteers when appropriate
• Properly document MDS assessment and activity progress notes
• Assess resident needs and develop residents activities goals for written plan of care
• Obtain appropriate supplies for activities
• Follow department budget

Education:

• High School Diploma or Equivalency
• Satisfactory completion of a training course for Activity Directors approved by the Louisiana Department of Health and Hospitals (able and willing to provide documented evidence)

Experience: At least 6months of experience in long term care industry.

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
