Job Summary:
Everest Global Services, Inc., a member of the Everest Re Group, Ltd., is currently seeking a Reserving Actuarial Analyst-II for the Everest Reinsurance portfolio. This position will perform reserve analyses, quarterly performance monitoring, as well as working on data and automation initiatives.
This is a hybrid position working 3 days in office, 2 remote. Location would preferably be in New Jersey, but New York and Philadelphia are also options.
Responsibilities:
This position will analyze the Everest Reinsurance portfolio. It will also assist with planning and financial reporting, and will collaborate with Pricing Actuarial, Underwriting, Claims, and Financial Services.
Qualifications:
  • Years of experience: 2-5 in P&C actuarial experience - reserving experience preferred.
  • Strong Excel skills are mandatory. Excel VBA experience is a plus.
  • 2-5 actuarial exams and pursuing credentialing in the Casualty Actuarial Society.
  • Familiarity with ResQ or SQL a plus.
  • Strong written and verbal interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment as well as independently.

For NYC Only: The base salary range for this position is $85,000-$110,000 annually. The offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, experience, qualifications and work location.
