Job Title: Reservation Sales Agent
Responsibilities:
- Handle inbound and outbound calls and emails from customers looking to book vacations
- Offer personalized recommendations and suggestions based on customer preferences
- Process bookings accurately and efficiently using our reservation system
- Final booking review and payment
- Answering primarily customer inquiries by maintaining knowledge of key differences, mail campaigns, product knowledge, and destination expertise.
- Actively respond to customer emails
- Handle customer's hotel and itinerary changes, flight cancellations, delays, and other travel-related issues.
- Provide exceptional customer service by understanding and meeting the needs of each client
- Meet and exceed sales targets to contribute to the overall success of the team
- Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns
- Other related duties as assigned
Requirements:
- High School diploma, preferably Associate degree in hospitality or travel & tourism
- Previous experience in sales or customer service is preferred
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- 2 years of proficiency in using GDS Sabre computer systems and software
- Familiarity with NDC content
- Ability to type at least 45 words per minute
- Working with points of interest/geography
- Availability to work any shift during business hours including evenings, weekends, and occasionally some holidays
- Sitting for long periods
- Reliable internet connection and ability to work remotely with VPN and productivity monitoring tools
