Qualifications:

• Familiarity with hotel product knowledge and activities
• Excellent command of written and spoken English

Responsibilities:

As a Reservation Agent, you will play a key role in maximizing room sales and revenue for our hotel. Your responsibilities include:

• Managing reservations, including new bookings, cancellations, and changes, ensuring accuracy of information passed to relevant departments.
• Performing secretarial tasks, such as preparing correspondence and maintaining records.
• Maintaining a proactive sales attitude, never missing a sales opportunity.
• Filing correspondence and maintaining up-to-date information.
• Updating guest information and sales data following reservation procedures.
• Upholding high-level guest service standards.
• Maintaining a clean and organized work area.
• Compliance with all company policies, brand standards, and hotel procedures.
• Prioritizing the quality of reservations.
• Completing any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Role Summary:

As a Reservation Agent, you will be responsible for selling the hotel and providing information to prospective guests. Your primary focus will be on capturing sales from incoming calls, coordinating reservation details.In addition, you will:

• Call to confirm and/or guarantee non-guaranteed reservations.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 14 – 20 per week
