Physical Requirements:Job will require extended periods of sitting using a computer, and occasionally lift, pushing, and pulling equipment weight 10 lbs.
Shift:Monday – Friday; 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM; and rarely may require working weekend or evening hours.
Job Summary:The Center for Applied Energy Research – Information Services department is looking for a self motivated person to collaborate on projects that will automate business processes and eliminate inefficient processes across the Research enterprise. Responsibilities for the Research Software Developer I will include meeting with all levels of supported staff collecting information pertaining to requested projects and assisting users in development of business rules. Integrating the requirements into a new section of the internal Connect web application, which is written in C# Blazor .Net 7 with a SQL database. Determine logic and perform coding, testing, and debugging. Participate in test plans and communicate with the product stakeholders to improve the quality of the application. Troubleshoot reported issues, track system defects, and debug applications.
