Position Description
Advertised Job Summary Program Coordinator will assist the Principal Investigator and research team in the
recruitment of participants, conduct of participant interviews, data entry into the REDCap
Study database and perform daily supportive administrative tasks for a research study funded by the National Institutes of Health (NIH) National Institutes of Nursing Research (NINR) that seeks to improve current and future chronic illness management among adult African American COVID-19 survivors and their caregivers in medical underserved and rural areas of South Carolina.
Required Education and Experience Bachelor's degree and 1 or more years of experience, which may be substituted by equivalent combination of certification, training, education, and/or experience.
Valid Driver's license.

Research study experience such as study coordination or other research team experience such as data analysis, administering surveys, etc. databases/assisting with reports, and grant implementation.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office applications such as Word-Excel-PowerPoint-Outlook. Excellent interpersonal and communication (oral and written) skills to be able to interact with all levels of personnel in an academic and community setting. Ability to multi-task a variety of functions. Organized and self-motivated.

Job Duties
Job Duty Contributes to the development, dissemination, and implementation of the study recruitment plan, documents participant contact and outcomes in the REDCap study database and refers interested and potentially eligible participants to the Study Coordinator.
Essential Function Yes Percentage of Time 20 Job Duty Conducts participant surveys and data entry into REDCap study database.
Essential Function Yes Percentage of Time 20 Job Duty Assists with mailing and the return of assigned study materials to participants and maintaining inventory control.
Essential Function Yes Percentage of Time 20 Job Duty Schedules and participates in regularly scheduled team and partner meetings, takes minutes, and maintaining meeting records.
