Description and key responsibilities:
MyOme wants to fill the position of Research Pilot Program Manager. This position will be responsible for overall management of a special project within MyOme working directly with the CEO and Chairman of the Board. This program involves coordinating work and resources for MyOme and partners at the Wyss Institute at Harvard and UCSF for a Research Pilot project at the interface of immunology and gene editing. Responsibilities include setting the roadmap for each institution's contributions and coordinating development and iteration of protocols, policies and procedures for all stages of the Research Pilot.
This role requires working closely with seasoned scientists, engineers, research and development teams where an immunology and gene editing background is essential for effective communication.
Ideal Skills and Requirements
B.S./M.S. in immunology, genetics or equivalent; Ph.D. preferred
Deep experience in paper and grant writing in the field of immunology or gene editing
5+ years of experience in healthcare, preferably in research or diagnostics
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Expertise in the fields relevant to this program including specific technical or industry knowledge in immunology, genetics, and gene editing
Superior project and program management and interpersonal skills
Ability to integrate feedback from many sources including across institutions and across functions to develop and update the program roadmap and timelines
Flexibility in the face of uncertainty and a shifting research landscape
