Position Summary
- Assists faculty in achieving its research mission and goals.
- Develops and refines areas of research focus for the nursing unit/division.
- Develops and implements department policies and procedures to ensure that the conduct and review of clinical research is in compliance with federal regulations.
- Provides guidance to faculty, fellows, residents, medical students and other staff on the preparation, conduct and compliance documentation necessary for institutional, individual and research subject protections in clinical research.
- Drafts research reports/abstracts in collaboration with clinical faculty.
- Plans, develops, and implements strategies for generating resources and/or revenues for the departments.
- Serves as the Center's coordinator for clinical trials working in collaboration with the Director, other faculty and staff.

Minimum Requirements
- ADN or higher is required.
- BSN preferred
- NC Nursing License required.
- Research methodology courses required along with a background in data analysis.
- More than 4 years but less than 5 years previous job experiences in the management of patients.
- Experience publishing/presenting papers; experience with clinical trials.
