As a Research & Development (R&D) Technician specializing in Quality Control (QC) at CyCan Industries, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the integrity and excellence of our product formulations. Responsibilities

• Conduct rigorous Quality Control testing on raw materials and finished products.
• Utilize established protocols for accurate and reliable results.
• Collect and analyze data from Quality Control tests.
• Work closely with the lab team to understand product formulations.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards, safety protocols, and regulatory guidelines.
• Prepare reports and maintain accurate records of Quality Control testing procedures and results.
• Operate laboratory equipment and instruments for Quality Control testing.
• Perform routine maintenance and calibration of equipment.
• Collaborate with the lab team to troubleshoot and address quality issues.
• Work independently to execute Quality Control protocols efficiently.
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Prioritize and manage heavy workload to meet deadlines and maintain quality standards.
• Demonstrate a quick learning ability to adapt to new testing methodologies and equipment.

Requirements

• High School diploma, with some college coursework.
• At least 2 years of experience in a fast-paced QC or R&D role.
• Bilingual proficiency (Spanish) is a plus but not mandatory.
• Strong understanding of basic chemistry principles and their application in Quality Control.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to work independently, showing initiative in identifying and resolving issues.

Working Conditions:

• On-site, daily presence required.
• Exposure to a manufacturing environment and potentially hazardous materials.
