Position Title: Research Associate III

Summary of Duties: Manage multiple projects with tasks varying to degree by project. Assist the Principal Investigator with project management by scoping, tracking, and delegating tasks to the project teams working on multiple projects. Coordinate design of modeling studies for review by the Principal Investigator. Co-author project proposals and deliverables, ensuring timely delivery of drafts for review by senior staff. Synthesize contributions from multiple team members into meaningful deliverables with clear messages. Develop initial drafts of project budgets and other business development-related materials. Provide scientific and financial project coordination (e.g., monitoring project scope, tracking progress to budget and timelines). Regularly interact with and present findings to clients, including on calls and face-to-face meetings. Contribute to strategic thinking regarding demonstration of product value. Refine research questions, hypotheses, and recommendations to address client research objectives. Identify information relevant to client need. Present strategies to senior staff to address scientific and operational challenges. Duties may be performed remotely.
Qualifications: Master’s degree in Operations Research, Health Services, Pharmaceutical Science, Public Health, Biology, Epidemiology, or related field and three (3) years of experience as a Research Scientist/Associate, Senior Executive - Insights, or related role or Bachelor’s degree in Operations Research, Health Services, Pharmaceutical Science, Public Health, Biology, Epidemiology, or related field and five (5) years of experience as a Research Scientist/Associate, Senior Executive - Insights, or related role. Must have three (3) years of experience with: Mathematical and simulation modeling; Statistical principles and methodology; Fundamentals of pharmacoeconomics, epidemiology, and literature review principles; Producing scientific reports and other scientific documentation; Research project implementation and management; and Using Excel to model health economics of pharmaceutical interventions.
