QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree and two years related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Degree in psychology, education, or related field preferred.
- Knowledge and understanding of experimental procedures and data collection.
- Ability to apply understanding of research methods and data collection protocols.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability and willingness to learn project management software and other software such as Trello, R, Stata, etc.
- Interest in learning and education.
- Experience working with children preferred.
- Demonstrated understanding and consideration of the differing needs and concerns of individuals with varying identities, cultures, and backgrounds.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Requires travel for various events, training, and seminars.
- Requires providing own transportation for position-related travel.

Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and conduct research within the guidelines set by the contracting agencies.
- Design, perform, and/or oversee the data collection to ensure data integrity, quality control, and protocol compliance.
- Assist with the preparation of reports, graphs, and manuscripts for publication and academic and external—facing conferences and workshops.
- Collect data in schools, on campus, and community organizations.
- Coordinate data collection schedules.
- Communicate with school personnel and partners about data collection and findings.
- Provide training to team members in data collection procedures.
- Prepare research materials and activities.
- Code and analyze data.
- Assist with IRB processes with partners and the University of Delaware.
- Work independently to meet time-sensitive deadlines.
- Perform miscellaneous job-related research activities as assigned.
