SUMMARY
The Production Planning Representative will monitor and implement procedures to ensure that the proper inventory is in all vendor managed and 3PL consigned warehouse locations. Lead, analyze and reconcile perpetual cycle counts for consigned inventory which will include some travel. Record keeping must be maintained in accordance with Westlake inventory policy and established SOX controls.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree (B.A.) required in Business or related field.
Minimum of three years inventory control experience in a manufacturing environment.
Ability to analyze and solve problems and write business correspondence and procedure manuals. Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel. Must be detail oriented and have good follow-through skills.
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
May include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Full responsibility for consigned inventory locations including replenishment, maintenance and coordination of annual physical counts.
- Analyze and document inventory discrepancies, identify root causes and provide possible solutions.
- May work with outside auditors to review cycle count accuracy as well as total inventory accuracy.
- Research JDE issues and work closely with IT to correct and assist with JDE testing as required.
- Help maintain proper documentation of all local procedures and internal controls to be followed during the monthly close process.
- Work with key personnel to effectively implement process improvements in an effort to proactively optimize overall location and item accuracy.
- Other inventory or PDM duties as required by Inventory Manager.
- Coordinate and maintain monthly physical inventory counts and records.
- Responsible for maintaining adequate inventory levels at 3PL and FDC to satisfy customer requirements.
- Participate in off-site physical inventory counts at the direction of the manager/supervisor.
- Comply with established safety rules.
- Comply with company policy and procedures.
- Maintain constructive working relationships with co-workers and supervisors/managers.
- Maintain regular attendance in accordance with company policy.
- Perform other duties as assigned to satisfaction of supervisor.
- May be required to work some weekends to complete quarterly/annual physical inventory process.
