ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Maintain a pleasant, friendly, and welcoming attitude toward all external and internal customers at all times.
- Have complete knowledge of all casino events and promotional activities.
- Assist guests to ensure them of a favorable VIP experience.
- Provide customer service and recognition to VIP players while working on the casino floor.
- Work special events servicing VIP players. Monitor and adjust performance to local competition.
- Retrieve information for new and existing accounts from CMS Player tracking system.
- Redeem points from accounts for patrons for cash or prizes.
- Issue comps.
- Answer telephone calls from patrons.
- Assist with slot tournaments.
- Assist all host with guest communications and correspondence.
- Assist guests by phone or in person with explanation and reservations for VIP parties and any current events.
- Maintain strict confidentiality relative to financial information, company policies and procedures, and team member and customer information.
- Effectively manage VIP players, paperwork, and reports.
- Review VIP activities and promotions with Executive Casino Host.
- Keep work area in a clean and orderly manner.
- Ensure the safety and security of all customers and team members.
- Comply with all policies and procedures established by Bally’s KC Casino and department management.
- Other duties as assigned or any reasonable request from any member of management.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, and OTHER CHARACTERISTICS:
- A high school diploma or GED is preferred.
- Must obtain Missouri Gaming Commission occupational license.
- Appropriate use of office equipment, including personal computer, telephone with voice mail system, fax machine, copy machine, and two-way radio.
- Must be able to work any assigned shift, including late nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime.
- Read, write, and understand somewhat complex instructions.
- Communicate appropriately with all casino customers, casino departments, and fellow team members.
- Understand and adhere to all Missouri Gaming Commission regulations and any other applicable federal, state, and/or local regulations.
- Accurately perform all assigned job duties in a high-volume, fast-paced environment under frequent time pressures.
