Job Description
SUMMARY: The Reporting Specialist collaborates with a wide variety of stakeholders and cross functional teams to develop and maintain data products that support key business initiatives, and critical business operations.

  • Work collaboratively with business users, analysts, developers, and others to design ,build, and provide ongoing production support for data products;
  • Define requirements, and provide production support for various reporting products;
  • Monitor and prioritize tickets in accordance with business needs;
  • Perform ingestion, transformation, and modeling of data sets within the data infrastructure;
  • Understand data sources available and their use cases in reporting;
  • Design, build and manage data pipelines, tables and views to support reporting requirements;
  • Contribute to the data catalog with necessary documentation;
  • Understand and support data governance;
  • Process confidential data and information according to guidelines and policies;
  • Oversee initiatives for data integrity and normalization;
  • Develop automated processes for optimization of data products;
  • Complete adhoc data requests as needed.

Supervisory Responsibilities: This position has no formal supervisory responsibilities.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Demonstrated success in working collaboratively with other professional staff
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Experience writing queries in SQL
  • Ability to travel up to 5% of the time
  • Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, etc.); Web proficiency.
  • Ability to clear required background check
  • Bachelor's degree in related field, five (5) years of relevant professional experience or equivalent combination of education and experience

Certificates and Licenses: None required.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Demonstrated experience in data modeling
  • Experience publishing reports in Power BI
  • Experience in K12 education as a teacher or analyst
  • Experience with the data management tools such as Snowflake, Alation, DBT, Python
  • Experience with Data Vault 2.0 modeling
  • Coursework specific to analytics, data management, and/or data modeling

This position is virtual and open to residents of the 50 states, D.C.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS: Stride, Inc. considers a person's education, experience, and qualifications, as well as the position's work location, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value when determining a new employee's salary level. Salaries will differ based on these factors, the position's level and expected contribution, and the employee's benefits elections. Offers will typically be in the bottom half of the range.
We anticipate the salary range to be $38,098.00 - $95,948.88. Eligible employees may receive a bonus. This salary is not guaranteed, as an individual's compensation can vary based on several factors. These factors include, but are not limited to, geographic location, experience, training, education, and local market conditions. Stride offers a robust benefits package for eligible employees that can include health benefits, retirement contributions, and paid time off.
