Reporting Analyst

The Reporting Analyst is responsible for working with the client to assist in the delivery of data driven reports and technological needs within Bottomline's Legal Spend Management suite of products. They handle advanced tasks, whether daily or ad hoc, using their business experience to guarantee success, completion, and delivery of the request. 

The Reporting Analyst is accountable for the success of reporting requests and ensuring that the client needs are met. They determine the scope of the request, collaborate with the client and internal team to create a delivery plan, and manage the plan to completion.  They analyze the request and existing data and strategize on the best method for completion and delivery. The Reporting Analyst communicates with the client to keep them apprised of the progress of the project and to manage expectations around client deliverables.

The Reporting Analyst also serves as a Subject Matter Expert for Bottomline's Legal Spend Management Products, working with the Project Management team on projects related to client implementations and support. They work on customer related technical projects such as software integration and migration initiatives, as well as working with the Customer Success and Development teams on prioritizing escalated issues.

• Understand reporting needs and work with the client to ensure those goals are met
• Manage project to ensure completion within specified timeframe
• Identify risks and provide appropriate escalation and mitigation plans
• Deliver a high level of quality and client satisfaction
• Manage expectations with and for the client
• Manage multiple client projects concurrently
• Ability to work with and delegate tasks to internal teams
• Research and analyze client issues/failures of varying complexity and communicate steps to resolve/remediate the problem

 Skills that Will Make You Successful:

• 2 years of experience with technical services management and/or account management experience with enterprise software applications
• Strong knowledge of reporting tools like OBIEE and SQL developer, as well as issue tracking software such as JIRA
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Experience implementing SaaS products
• Ability to prioritize effectively and handle shifting priorities professionally
• Ability to successfully work under tight deadlines

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Business or Technology and / or equivalent training and experience

• 1-3 years as a project manager or similar role in a technology group or organization

• Prior interaction with Jira and Salesforce as issue tracking and CRM tools a plus
