Corso's Horticulture is the wholesale division within August Corso Sons, Inc., a parent company which includes additional branches for garden center, nursery, floral, and landscape. Producing over eleven million plants a year to supply major retailers throughout the Midwest, Great Lakes, and New England, Corso's Horticulture has grown to become one of the largest and most influential perennial growers in the USA.

Position Summary:

This position consists of two parts including assisting/backing up key personnel in the order writing process for Lowe's where we ship products. We write orders 5 days a week, working Saturday but off on Wednesday. The estimated schedule is from 8:00am to 6:00pm. The rest of the season it is a Monday-Friday position 9am-4:30pm. The second part is to handle general office duties including but not limited to the list below.

Major Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assisting/back up position to replenishment assistant duties. This includes being fluent in several programs to accomplish a task. From Theta, SAGE to RIO, and Excel.
• Answers phones
• File
• Cash Receipts
• Set up work in SAGE Program
• Data entry
• Paperwork sorting
• Research
• Pull/Post EDI orders
• Create orders/invoices for various customers
• Various reports

Skills & Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Willing to work extended hours as needed and work in inclement weather.
• Ability to work in a team environment as well as on own.
• Must have reliable transportation and good attendance.
• Exceptional computer/excel skills
