Summary
The Outsourcing Repair Coordinator is responsible for researching vendors with the capability of repairing industrial parts, as well as cost and lead time for new. The primary responsibility is to provide solutions to customers whose units cannot be repaired in-house. This role also serves to build vendor relations, ensuring that vendor contacts are created, maintained, and prioritized by quality, cost, and OEM availability.

· Work with the Technician Coordinator to evaluate incoming units for repairability
· Manage unit status, research vendors, and repair/replacement options
· Work with our vendors to ensure the most cost and time-effective outsourcing possibility for each unit
· Partner with the Pricing Department, when a repair option cannot be found, to create a New Sale quote for a replacement
· Provide Sales representatives with status updates, when requested
· Ensure that adequate notes are made in the system regarding unit status as it changes
· Receive status updates from vendors
· Manage vendor information and contacts in Salesforce
· Create and track all vendor purchase orders
· Work with the Solutions Coordinator and Service Manager to improve procedures and processes, as needed
· Purchase replacements from vendors
General Accountabilities
· Create purchase orders into the company database
· Handle expediting requests received from customers
· Work with the Accounting Department in order to problem solve and facilitate the processing of invoices
· Provide clerical and administrative support to the Solutions Department such as answering phones, preparing paperwork, and maintaining files
· Perform other related duties as assigned or requested

Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, with exposure to computer screens and requires regular use of a computer, keyboard, mouse, and multi-line telephone system. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Position Type/ Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Standard days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. through 5:00 p.m. with an hour lunch break.
Travel
No travel is expected for this position.
Required Education and Experience
· High school diploma or equivalent
· One to two years of previous related experience
